Zappos does not stand by their 365 day return policy. It is simply a gimmick. I purchased boots from “Sold by Zappos” on Amazon (Amazon owns Zappos by the way). There is no disclaimer on Zappos site under their return policy that states Amazon is an exclusion. I remind you my product was “Sold by Zappos” so they should stand by their policy but they do not. I started with Zappos customer service through chat, the agent was horribly condescending and work-shy to the point of using “lol” when responding to my messages. Very unprofessional. I then spoke to Amazon customer service that took 30 plus minutes with no satisfactory result. Over an hour total with unsatisfactory service from both companies. If an attorney reads this maybe it is grounds for a class action lawsuit. Either way Zappos does not stand by their word (policy). They chose to not take care of a loyal customer.

Very dissappointing that after setting up an account and adding payment details, this company REFUSE to ship some hiking boots to me in Australia!!

I bought $1195 Movado watch from them and they ship me an empty Movado box with NO WATCH INSIDE. Total fraud and they're giving me a hard time about refunding it now.

I have been a VIP customer for many years. Always great to deal with, easy returns. Now i received an email that they will terminate my account for “misuse of the return policy”. As an online retailer, my only option is to order different sizes, styles, or colors to see what I like best. So I may order 3 or 4 pairs of shoes, but I have always returned items promptly, kept what I wanted, and had no problems doing this for years. I may have ordered 4-5 times this year. They cant tell me what ‘misuse’ I have committed. Chatting with customer service, they tell me to read their terms policy…which says nothing about returns. Zappos, this is how you treat your long standing customers? Then don’t be in the online shoe or clothing business!
